Guiding Lighthouse is a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status pending with the Internal Revenue Service. We are dedicated to restoring hope, rebuilding lives, and strengthening communities across Texas.
Our programs provide safe housing, recovery support, and life-changing resources to veterans, homeless individuals, returning citizens, senior citizens, survivors of domestic violence, individuals in sober living programs, and people with disabilities experiencing homelessness.
Through comprehensive services, ranging from housing and mental health stabilization to workforce training and spiritual development, we empower individuals and families to move from crisis.
Guiding Lighthouse also empowers veterans, homeless families, senior citizens, survivors of domestic violence, individuals in sober living, and formerly incarcerated individuals through housing, education, job readiness, and family support programs.

Guiding Lighthouse upholds the highest standards of transparency and stewardship.
Our governing Board of Directors ensures that every contribution is used effectively to advance our mission.
We dedicate at least 85 cents of every dollar directly toward programs that provide housing, recovery, and reentry services including transitional housing, senior care, disability advocacy, and trauma-informed support for survivors.
When contributions exceed the needs of a specific program, they’re directed to areas of greatest need ensuring that every donation brings light, healing, and opportunity to those we serve.
